Dr. Dadgostar joined Lakehead University in 1983, was promoted to the Associate rank in 1988 and was promoted to the rank of Full Professor in 1993. He received his Ph.D. in Economics with a minor in Statistics from Iowa State University, a Masters Degree in Economics from Ball State University and a Masters Degree in Finance from Concordia University. His research and teaching reflect an avid interest in a variety of areas including economic theory, international finance, options and futures, corporate finance, research methods, quantitative methods and econometrics.
Dr. Dadgostar is presently in his seventh year of a mandate as the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Lakehead University. His balanced record of activity and achievement in all areas of academic life -- teaching, research and service -- demonstrates his belief in the value of all aspects of academic endeavour.
